Course Selection Information Evening

Happy New Year GWSS Families,
The 2017-2018 Course selection process has begun. We understand the importance of students making well planned, thought out, researched course selections in order for us to build the best timetable for our students, as these selections determine our staffing allocations and confirm our GWSS course offerings for the 2017-2018 school year.  To help students and families make well-informed choices, Student Services will be hosting a Course Selection and Pathway Planning information evening at Garth Webb Secondary School on January 19th starting at 6:00 PM. Families will have an opportunity to speak with Guidance Counsellors about courses and the best pathway for your student. Topics that will be covered include:
1. Navigating MYBLUEPRINT.CA
2. 2017-2018 Course Selection
3. Pathway Planning
4. Post-Secondary Exploration
5. The Future Job Market talk (sponsored by Parent Council)
**This is an interactive presentation, families are encouraged to bring their own web-accessible device**
